Step into a local recording studio in Epworth and discover what happens behind the music you hear. During this experience, I’ll take you inside my home studio and show you how a song can come together—from creating an instrumental and developing the musical idea, to recording vocals and shaping the final sound. I’ll also share what it is like working with upcoming Zimbabwean artists and some of the challenges and opportunities they face while building their music careers. You’ll have the opportunity to listen to music being created, ask questions about music production and the Zimbabwean music scene, and see the equipment and techniques used in a working studio. If you’re interested, you can even have a go at recording something yourself. This is a relaxed, behind-the-scenes experience for anyone curious about music, creativity, Zimbabwean culture, or simply what happens inside a local recording studio.
Work days from 9am to 5pm. Saturdays 8am to 1pm
