Join a local Zimbabwean dance group in Harare for an immersive cultural experience where you will learn, practise, connect and perform alongside local dancers.
Whether you are an experienced dancer or simply curious about modern and contemporary dance and Zimbabwean culture, you will become part of the group for the duration of your stay.
What will you experience?
During your programme, you will:
- Take daily dance lessons with experienced Zimbabwean dance teachers
- Train and rehearse alongside members of a local dance group
- Learn about Zimbabwean dance, music and cultural traditions
- Build friendships and exchange experiences with local young people
- Take part in rehearsals and prepare for a performance
- Have the opportunity to perform together with the dance group
- Experience everyday life in Zimbabwe through local connections

Your 1-Week Experience
Day 1 — Welcome to Zimbabwe
Airport pickup, accommodation check-in and programme orientation.
Days 2–5 — Learn & Connect
Daily dance training and rehearsals, combined with opportunities to discover Zimbabwean culture and spend time with local people.
Day 6 — Perform
Final rehearsal and, where the group's schedule permits, a joint performance.
Day 7 — Farewell
Reflection, farewell and airport transfer.
The exact programme may vary depending on the dance group's rehearsal and performance schedule.
